FT: Rebirth

Hey all, sorry for the lack of updates around here, but my Dreamweaver wasn't working for a while. Recently I purchased CS5, so I am a happy camper again!

I am informing you that I am working on redesigning this site, and it should be ready after I get out of school and have more time to work on it this summer. In the meantime I figure I will show you the finished first page to give you a taste of what is in store! :)

Zila's new design!

I am excited about drawing her and including more animal life in the comic. She is largely based off a snow leopard! <3

Just some quick PS doodles of the main three. Designs here are not final.

Not much else to say...but I am working on the next promo illustration. I have just finished reading the first vol of Akira, and it has influenced me a lot! :D

Quick sketches, just color studies.

Why yes, FT:Rebirth WILL be in color. It kinda has to in order to compete with any other webcomic nowadays, they've gotten so amazing lately! the bar is raised so high...intimidating! :)

Some more designs! Still not finalized on Zila's, but I do enjoy the new Deneb with his freckles and sideburns. lol :D

In an effort to get back to updating this site regularly, I'll be posting 'new' posts here every Wednesday!

Here you can see some of the development of a new design for Cygnus and others. Out of all the characters, it's him and Deneb who have changed the most I think. :)

Welcome to the official FT:Rebirth website!! Exciting, huh? I would like to thank Ellie for coding it for me, my old ways of web design would have never worked. LOL I've become a geezer. She is awesome. <3

This spot will be used mainly to show the preview sketches and whatnot about my process for creating this new story. And what a new story it is! If you have read the old story you're in for something completely new and different. At first I was not looking forward to rehashing the story and was very sad about it. After a while...something just clicked in me, and here we are! I'm so excited for what FT has turned into, and I hope you will like it as well!
